A fine pair of flintlock pistols by Gio. Batt. Bucele, dating: last quarter of the 17th Century
Smooth, four-stage, 15 mm cal. barrels, octagonal at the first part, then of sixteen faces and finally with two round segments divided by rings, signed "LAZARINO COMINAZZO", with foresight; locks chiselled in the style of Brescia and signed "Gio. Batt.a Bucele"; full stocks with steel mounts, decorated en suite and partially pierced; iron-tipped ramrods. See "Brescian Firearms", by Nolfo di Carpegna, page 158.
