Description: Helmet bowl dating from the mid Edo period, remodelled into a fireman's helmet during the late Edo period. Suji kabuto formed of 16 plates with russet iron surface. Five shinodare, each of the flanges with five large iron hoshi. Iron four-stage tehen kanamono and agemaki-no-kan. Fukigaeshi with gilt mitsu tomoe mon. Interior lining existent, cords missing. Attached a button-on felt skirt with mon applications. Height 15 cm, width 31 cm.
