A flintlock gun by G. B. Zugno, dating: 18th Century
provenance: North Italy
Smooth, four-stage, 17 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part signed "FRANZINO", with broad sight, followed by a part of sixteen faces and finally two round sectors; lock signed "G. B. ZUGNO", with oblique borders, the hammer chiselled with leaves; slightly sculpted wooden half stock, engraved brass mounts. Bone-tipped wooden ramrod.
