A flintlock pistol by Angelo Franceschi, dating: late 18th Century
provenance: North Italy
Smooth, two-stage, 13 mm cal. barrel, the first part octagonal marked "PISTOIA" among gold-inlaid lilies, followed by smooth and beaded rings, then round; flintlock engraved with floral motifs and signed "Angelo Franceschi"; wooden full stock with brass mounts. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod.
