A flitlock pistol, dating: mid-18th Century
provenance: Central Italy
Smooth, two-stage, octagonal and grooved then round, 14 mm cal. barrel with rings at the girdle; flintlock with flat plate and outlines; briarwood full stock; brass mounts with remains of engravings depicting floral motifs, with pierced counter-plate and shield (a small part missing). Wooden ramrod.
