Description: with mottled red marble banded verde antico marble top
This console table is in reasonable conserved condition. There are overall marks and scratches consistent with age and use, visible construction cracks, and minor losses throughout. There are repaired breakages to the head of the right hand side carved giltwood eagle, and to the carved leaves on the bottom frieze. There is signs of breaks to the carved rope on the apron frieze and to the left bottom leaf on the base that are in need of attention. The gilding, retouched in places, would benefit from a clean according to taste. There is some minor movement along the lines of construction and chips to the gilding and gesso.
