A GEORGE III HEXAGONAL MIRROR GLASS CADDY LATE 18TH CENTURY

13cm. high, 17cm. wide; 5 1/4 in., 6 3/4 in.

the hinged top and sides inset with glass panels, partially decorated to the reverse with mirror silvered motifs within gilt pearl-beaded borders all laid on a silk backing, the beechwood frame work inlaid with chevron stringing
