Description: A gold lace and lamé cocktail dress, circa 1925, the tulle embroidered with sparkling bands of gold thread flowerheads, bust 92cm, 36in; together with a black chiffon cocktail gown, c.1929 with graduated hem, adorned with irregular black satin ribbons edged in gold thread, bust 86cm, 34in (2)

Condition Report: Gold dress - perspiration stains at underarms on lame underdress, tulle overlays are good, few tiny pinhead sized holes but nothing immediately noticeable or serious. Slight thinning to tulle (separated threads) to skirt in one area, again not too serious. Rhinestone studded gold band at waist is later added but an extremely good match. Black and gold dress - a few faint mildew speckles, not particularly noticeable, good.
