A group of two drawings on paper, the first a Thomas Couture (French 1815 - 1879) crayon and watercolor image in a Renaissance / Classical style depicting a mother with four children, signed Thomas Couture and dated 1867 UL, a few small flecks of foxing; the second a classical style graphite drawing (?) of a woman (possibly Venus), with a winged putti (possibly Cupid) and another child, monogramed "e.s.m." LR, some minor stains in image, water stains on mat; both matted and framed under glass, ss: 5 1/2" h. x 8 1/4" w. and 16" h. x 12 1/2" w., respectively.
