Description: A handsome Etruscan bucchero olpe, c. 630 – 600 BC, the ovoid body with ring foot and decorated with four series of incised horizontal lines, the neck is tall and narrow with wide pouring spout and strap handle. A pleasing example with nicely burnished surfaces. 7 5/8 in (19.4 cm). Light deposits. Ex collection of Alberto Altieri, Illinois.
