Description: Single-edged, straight blade with wide fuller on both sides and central point. Bone grip-scales. Brass hilt. Lion´s head-shaped pommel, knuckle-guard in form of snake wrapped around oak branches. On outer side dipped shell with embossed relief of Hunt. Leather scabbard, brass chape. Top locket of scabbard holds co-called Beimesser (replaced) - small Genicker knife carried with hunting knife. Downward-facing suspension hook on each side. Probably Germany, middle of 19th century, length 69 cm. Condition 2
