Description: A Japanese Hirado blue and white sake flask (tokkuri), c.1750-1800, painted with a mountainous river landscape scene, 18.5cm
Has some light speckling to the glaze around the neck and on the shoulder, a slight orange patch on the rim made in firing and a slight firing imperfection to the inside of the foot which is not visible when viewed sideways on, where the glazed has pooled to the base it has turned a pale green colour in patches.
