Description: Blade shinogi-zukuri, chu kissaki, torii zori. Sugu notare hamon, o hada, ko maru boshi. Slightly scratched, kesho-like polish, signs of fatigue. Nakago ubu with two mekugi ana, kiri yasurime, uninscribed. Silver applied copper habaki. Black lacquer saya with aogai flakes in wood grain pattern, towards the tsuka with black, ribbed lacquer. Iron chape with maple leaf and pine needle. Fuchi kashira of nigurome with gilt details, kiri blossoms and rock. Marugata iron tsuba in sukashi, drawer handles with remnants of gold nunome. The tsuka fitted with same and mounted with a pair of part-gilt acorn menuki, black silk cord wrap. Mounting from the late Edo period. Length k/m 73.1 cm, total length 108 cm.
