Description: lacquered papier-maché box with rounded ends and sliding tray, the lid decorated with birds and butterflies flying amidst floral sprays on a ochre ground, the sides and tray with floral stems on a black ground, signed and dated on lid
In fairly good condition, overall with craquelure to surface, the signature and date faded, as viewed.
