Sold together with a custom metal stand mounted with dedicatory plaque.

PROVENANCE:

Elizabeth Taylor, 1990.

Condition Report: Overall good condition with no repairs or losses. Minor surface abrasions to the lower edge from friction against the associated metal stand. One small chip crack to right rear edge, visible from the side and back but not visible from the front. No evident surface wear or scratches.

Notes: This sculpture was given by Elizabeth Taylor to the Forbes family shortly after Malcolm Forbes'' death in 1990. The inscription reads, "In memory of my beloved friend, Malcolm S. Forbes, a fellow warrior in the fight against HIV/AIDS and first Chairman of Masquerade for the American Foundation for Aids Research. Elizabeth Taylor/World Aids Day 1990".
