Description: A lot of 10 Egyptian terracotta amulet molds, New Kingdom, c. 1570 - 1075 BC. Lot includes a mold for a Wedjat, or 'Eye of Horus', with a uraeus before, one for a large scarab, a mold for the base of a scarab, a mold for a nice Djed pillar of Osiris amulet representing Osiris, a mold for a date palm element for a broad collar, another for a serpentine bezel for a faience ring, a mold for “knot of Isis” amulet, a mold for a poppy bead, a mold for an amulet of Bes and a mold for a large rosette bead. A few containing remains of the white paste from use and earthen deposits, the scarab mold with old collection numbers in red. Well preserved. Largest measures 37 x 38mm in width. Ex Orange County private collection.
