Provenance: Purchased by Charles Pierrepont, 3rd Earl Manvers for Thoresby Hall circa 1870 during the renovation of the house by Anthony Salvin;
By family tradition inherited by the 3rd Earl's second son Evelyn Pierrepont;
By descent to his son Gervas Pierrpont, later 6th Earl Manvers, returned to Thoresby Hall on his accession to the Earldom;
Thence by descent.

Dimensions: 78.5cm. high, 73cm. wide, 51cm. deep; 2ft. 7in., 2ft. 4¾in., 1ft. 8in.
