A Louis XVI style painted and carved oak trumeau mirror
Mounted with an oil on wood roundel depicting an 18th century style courting couple.
H: 59 1/2, W: 26 1/4 in.
Overall the mirror showing traces of white glue throughout. The wooden frame's upper half with multiple areas of separation; the lower half with one area of separation to left side. Loss to gold paint throughout, with additional dirt accumulation and loss to green paint throughout. The gold-painted bow showing evidence of repairs.
