This mantelpiece has substantial damage and is in need of restoration. The two uprights and the central mantel shelf are largely intact with peripheral cracks and losses, probably as a result of de-installation. The left and right corners of the mantel shelf are also damaged. Cannot be used without treatment by a professional ceramics conservationist.
