Description: A mid 19th century brass sextant by Berge Late Ramsden of London, in mahogany case, overall 12in.
All the coloured glass filters are intact, there appears to be only one mirror which is on the smallest end but there is a rectangular mirrored panel but there only seems to be one mirror, the largest engraved number is 130 but it does go higher than that but with no engraved numbers.
Original case of good dark colour with scuffs and stains from fair wear and tear, no key present and slight damage at the base.
Regarding the missing mirror it looks as if it is the horizon mirror, the right half should be mirrored, the glass is present but the silvering has gone so there is no mirrored effect.
