Description: with spiralling gesso sheaves of wheat
This monumental mirror is in good condition. There are marks and scratches as well as minor losses throughout. Some losses are noticeable on the gilt and gesso sheaves of wheat. The gilding is worn in places. The upper part which probably also contained a mirror glass or a painted panel, has been replaced with a simple gold-painted panel. This imposing piece would benefit from a light clean, but is otherwise ready to place.
