Description: A Napoleon III parcel bronzed ormolu mantel clock, surmounted with a classical bust and theatrical masks, movement signed Charpentier à Paris, 17in.
Much of the darker bronzing to the clock has now been rubbed away from polishing over the years, equally the dial looks rubbed and it appears that there would have been more differentation between the numerals and the chapter ring, no. 12 has lost the lower left part of its X, movement complete but not tested for timekeeping, comes with pendulum and key.
