Description: A nice pair of Roman glass vessels, 1st – 2nd Century AD, the first a pale blue unguentarium with narrow body, pinched neck and attractive iridescence. H: 4 1/5 in (10.7cm). The second is near colorless glass bottle with piriform body, tubular neck and widely flared mouth with inward folded rim. 3 3/5 in (9.1cm). Both good examples with light deposits and both marked with red museum collection numbers near their bases. Ex collection of Prof. Alan Pasch, Maryland.
