Description: with a shaped and padded backrest and scrolled carved arm supports, on stylised paw feet
A piece in good condition, with attractively carved details, and with the usual marks and scratches consistent with age and use, most notably to the moulded border of the upper backrest frame and to the feet. There is some water staining to the veneer together with some secure and minor cracks to the carving on both sides. There are two losses to the veneer of the front bottom frieze (visible from the catalogue photograph) which also present some minor lifting. The later upholstery is in very good condition. Please note that the complete measurements for this piece are: 95cm. high, 234cm. wide, 71cm. deep.
