Description: 12¾-inch painted dial signed Johan Jacob Kirst, Bremen, the movement Dutch-striking on two bells, the case with arched cresting and finials above foliate frets and Corinthian-capped hood pillars, rectangular trunk door flanked by canted corners and giltwood masks, panelled plinth on block feet
Painted dial is dirty and rubbed. Movement is complete but needs a clean and service. Case is rather dirty, old minor worm damage to both hood pillars, left hood fret replaced, moulding lacking from lower left side of trunk, old scuffs,. marks and minor dents throughout. With pendulum, two brass-cased weights and 2 door keys but no winder.
