Description: Octagonal, in the middle slightly waisted barrels of wrapped Damascus steel with twelve-groove rifled bores in 11 mm calibre. One barrel partially somewhat pitted. Blued dovetail front sights, adjustable rear sights. The barrel tops featuring the gold inlaid signature "Morgenroth in Gernrode". Snails and tangs with deeply etched scrolling leaves, gold inlaid numbers "1" and "2", respectively. Percussion locks with back action lock plates and folding cock safeties. Deeply etched scrolling leaves. Set triggers. Half stocks of finely grained walnut wood, the barrels fluted, scrolling leaves on both sides. Butt caps of dark horn, vacant silver escutcheons. Iron pommel caps and trigger guards with deeply etched scrolling leaves. Length of each piece 37 cm. In a fruitwood case with brass handle, felt-lined interior. Lockable, the original key included. The interior with associated wooden ramrod with brass tip. Side drawer with iron bullet mould, copper priming powder flask and powder scale. Dimensions 19 x 40 x 14 cm.
