Description: A pair of ceramic finger drums from Costa Rica, c. AD 1000 - 1550, Central Highlands, Atlantic Watershed, the first orange-ware with single small handle and light deposits, H: 7 1/2 in (19.3cm), the second of ovoid shape with widely flared pedestal foot and single handle, the white slip preserved with red horizontal banding, H: 4 1/2 in (11.4 cm). cf.
