Description: circular, plain drop-ring handles, the detachable domed covers engraved below vase-shaped finials with a coat-of-arms, motto, supporters and viscount's coronet, the sides engraved with a crest and viscount's coronet, the undersides and interiors of the lids engraved with the initials 'T.S' and inscribed: 'Sometimes taken to the Country'

Condition Report: One clearly marked to underside with makers and hallmarks. The other marked below the rim of the body, rubbed, makers mark almost lost. Both covers fully and clearly marked to rim. One with bruises to lower body, the other with a crease around the rim. Bright in colour but otherwise good condition.
