Description: The cuisses lightly ridged, the upper lame with a bold, ridged flange. An armourer's mark or proof mark in the shape of a city gate stamped in the outer edges of the principal lame. The ridged poleyns sliding on four lames with grooved wings on each side. A restored crack at the base of one wing. The sloping edges with a grooved flange and two slots to insert the locking bolts of the greaves. The original straps with iron buckles still attached, incomplete, defective in places. The riveting partly renewed. The inner sides with old paintwork in red lead. Length of each 52 cm.
