Description: with brèche marble top above four drawers, stamped MEWESEN JME
This pair of bedside commodes is in good conserved condition. There are minor marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Traces of restoration to drawers, and minor losses to veneer, namely four losses to first three drawers of one and two losses to one drawer of the other. Both marble tops broken in places and repaired. The front foot to one is lacking its brass sabot as can be seen in the catalogue photograph.
