Plain sight, ovolo with beads, plain frieze with superimposed interlaced band. Ovolo with beads, taenia back edge
Surrounded by curtain motifs with central ribbon below and a ribbon motif with laurel leaf festoons at the top
In addition to this mounted behhind glass Cupid disarmed by Euphrosine and Cupid binding Aglaia to a Laurel after engravings by Thomas Burke after Angelika Kauffmann

Both frames are altogether in a good condition with usual signs of age and wear. Occasionally the gold paint shows smaller color flaking or abrasion. The wood in places with tension cracks and partially repaired fractures. The engravings were examined framed and appear in good condition.
