Of baluster form, the trumpet neck with a beaded collar, flanked by gilt enriched rope-twist handles with bearded Bacchic head terminals, each finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with classical companion figures holding hoops, he with a cockerel perched on his left hand; she with arms open wide in a stance of surprise, above a key-pattern band, the reverse with opposing theatrical masks emblematic of Comedy and Tragedy suspended from ribbon-tied bows entwined with trailing vine, on a stepped flaring foot
