Description: A pair of Parthian silver earrings, c. 1st Century BC, from the Kuh Dasht Hoard, each bearing the form of the youth Attis in repoussé, his garment is blown back so that his nudity is exposed. Each about 2.5cm in length and well-preserved with attractive patination. Cf. Weiskopf, p. 153, pl. 25, nos. 1 7. Ex Joel L. Malter, (Nov, 1985) lot 363.
