Description: A pair of Roman silver coins. Lot includes a silver Denarius of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, the 'Philosopher' emperor, AD 161 – 180, and a silver Antoninianus of the emperor Gordian III, AD 238 – 244. Both are in nice condition, the Aurelius with attractive toning. The Gordian III coin comes housed within a slab by National Numismatic Certification, grades as MS-63.
