Description: Finely carved in high relief with the seated sage wearing long flowing robes, beneath the shading tree and rock formation, alternately on verso, showing a humble attendant row on a boat beneath wutong tree. The natural golden russet inclusions on the jade sculpture is skillfully carved out detailing the leafy pine tree. The jade shows moist milky appearance with pale-celadon tones. Finely presented upon a carved hardwood stand.
