Description: the frieze drawer concealing a removable folding writing slope fitted with pen trays and various compartments
Very decorative. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Generally, though, in good restored condition. The leather inset surfaces later but well done. Brass interior fittings (hinges and lock) and lid of internal pen tray later. Inset rosewood veneer/fillets to sites of brass metal work. The underside probably lined with baise.
