Dmitri Moor (1883-1946) was a famous Russian and Soviet Avant-garde graphic artist and illustrator. He studied at Moscow University; in P.I. Kelin`s studio in Moscow in 1910. He began exhibiting no later than 1918. He exhibited with AKhRR 1923. Important shows include Anti-Imperialist Exhibition (Moscow, 1931). He was a member of OKTIABR. He was best-known as a leading poster artist of early Soviet period.
