Description: A Sasanian stamp seal and ring stone, c. 3rd 6th Century AD, the first a stamp seal in banded agate depicting quadrupeds, hand pierced for suspension, (19 x 12mm). The second is a large Sasanian carnelian ring stone depicting a winged horned antelope, crescent above hind, star before. L: 1 in (2.5cm). Ex North Carolina private collection.
