Description: with nine drawers arranged around a recessed cupboard, central drawer stamped

Condition Report: Overall in 'country house' condition. The top with old marks and scratches, notably water marks and what appear to be a few small burn marks, and areas of rubbing to the polished surface which reveal the underlying timber. It would therefore benefit from a polish according to taste. There is a stable age crack to the left side of the top and a further spilt to the rear right corner. The drawer fronts are veneered in highly figured walnut and there are losses along one edge of the cock beading on two drawers, and a further drawer is lacking a brass handle. The drawer above the knee whole lacking the drawer stoppers and another drawer with just one drawer stopper which is currently detached. The panelled back with movement due to age shrinkage. The desk is on castors. Overall with old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
