Description: Tall, iron helmet bowl formed of six plates. The plates studded at the edges with small hemispherical hoshi (rivets), sabinuri surface. Uninscribed. Four-stage, part-gilt tehen kanamono. Mabezashi and fukigaeshi with engraved and gilt fukurin, four unattributed kikyo mon. Five-lame hineno shikoro of iron, sabinuri lacquered, with red sugake lacing. Original, damaged helmet lining. Onigashira maidate of lacquered wood. Height 32 cm, width 33 cm.
