Description: Iron koshozan helmet bowl formed of six suji plates in the style of the Unkai School. Each plate studded with rows of small, blunt hoshi (rivets) and kikku-like, iron washers. Russet iron surface. Uninscribed. Four-stage iron tehen kanamono and agemaki-no-kan with green agemaki. Uninscribed. Fukigaeshi and mabezashi with old leather of Spanish cordovan. Three-lame ko manju shikoro of iron, lacquered black, the bottom lame gilt. Green sugake lacing. Original helmet lining, helmet band missing. Height 27 cm, width 35 cm.
