A STAFFORDSHIRE PRATT-TYPE PEARLWARE COW AND CALF GROUP CIRCA 1800 the cow sponged in ochre and modelled standing with her head turned towards her suckling calf on a textured green chamfered rectangular base molded with a border of stiff leaves picked out in ochre and green. Together with a Staffordshire creamware cow creamer and cover, circa 1820, the spotted cow modelled standing four-square on a thin green chamfered rectangular base attended by a seated milkmaid with her pail, (the first with minor restoration to the ears and horn of the cow and one ear of the calf; the second with minor restoration to ears and cover restored). 2 pieces. lengths 5 1/8 and 6 3/4 in. (13 and 17.2cm.)
