Description: Koseizan suji kabuto formed of 132 plates, iron bowl with russet iron surface. Six-stage tehen kanamono, also made of iron. The individual plates with distinctive ashiganare, the interior incorrectly inscribed "Nobuiye". Seven-lame and black lacquered ichi manju shikoro of smooth, iron plates with blue sugake lacing, the lowest plate gilt. Large, leather covered fukigaeshi with rindo mon. Repaired, gilt maedate. Iron Ubaho mempo, also with russet iron surface, four-lame, black lacquered yodare kake with light blue lacing, inscribed "Katsura Myochin Ki Munenaga Saku. Kitchu Jitsu Keio Hachi Gatsu (August 1865). Kashu Daiichi Shoji Junin." Iron go mai tatehagi-do with russet iron surface, the breast plate with uchifashi bonji "Fudo Miyo Mukokushio Bishamonten". Polychrome kebiki lacing and gilt fukurin. The top section of the breast plate and the shoulder guards with wa and rindo mon on nashiji ground. Seven attached five-lame kusazuri of lacquered iron plates with blue lacing. Kamisori shino kote with russet iron surface, on the upper arms uchidashi plates with mukokushio bishamonten bonji, the tekko with a firefly design in sukashi. Seven-lame sode with gilt mounts with kiku design. Iyo haidate of black lacquered leather plates in blue lacing, two right (!) leather o-tateage suneate. Brocade tattered and with signs of age, smaller repairs and replacements in places, fastening loops and toggles partially missing.
