Description: A TIBETO-CHINESE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF YAMANTAKA 18TH CENTURY Standing in alidhasana with his consort, standing on top of prostrate figures, birds and bovine animals above a lotus base, with his many arms radiating about him and holding various attributes, the primary arms grasping his consort and holding a curved knife and skull cap, adorned with beaded jewelry and a garland of severed heads, the face cast with a wrathful expression, tall flaming hair and wearing a crown of skulls. Underside with incised quatrefoil flori-form petal visvavajra mark surrounding the centralized DaiJi.
