Description: A VERY FINELY CARVED BONE PACIFIC NORTHWEST BEAR EFFIGY DAGGER.
American, 18th/19th century, bone and abalone. Likely Tlingit or Haida,the pommel from an earlier dagger in the form of bear, wonderfully carved and inset with abolone eyes and teeth, mounted to later redwood handle and metal alloy blade. Pommel, 2"h.
