Description: A Victorian silver circular salver by Sibray, Hall & Co. (Frederick Sibray & Job Frank Hall), London 1890, engraved a broad band of scrolls, cornucopia, and swags, the bar pierced border embossed with ribbon tied swags and oval paterae, a beaded rim and on three cast bar pierced and swag feet, engraved with a crest, a motto 'Caeteris Major Qui Melior' and 'Rt. Hon. Sir Massey Lopes, Bart. To Walter Radcliffe, Esq. April 1892', 42.5cm (16 3/4in) diameter, 1976g (63.55 oz) The crest and motto of RADCLIFFE.
