Description: Blade shinogi zukuri, chu kissaki, torii zori. Choji gunome hamon. Over-polished hada, boshi kaen with middle kaeri, small rust spots. Nakago ubu with two mekugi ana, ground yasurime, inscribed "Bishu Osafune Sukesada" and "Tembun Ju Nen Hachi Gatsu Jitsu" (8th month 1541). Gilt copper habaki. Black lacquer saya with aogai design and samenuri fittings. Fuchi kashira of copper with dragon engraving. Ashigaru tsuka fitted with paper and mounted with a pair of nigurome feather menuki, lacquered linen wrap. Mokkogata iron tsuba with a braid design. Mounting from the late Edo period. Length k/m 56.3 cm, total length 86.5 cm.
