Description: A Worcester ''Ho-Ho bird'' blue scale ovoid vase, c.1770, painted in kakiemon style with a phoenix amid foliage to each side, square fret seal mark, 8.25in.
There is some fritting / brown staining around the top rim, occasional minor scratches to the glaze but the gilding is generally quite bright and the enamel colours in good order, there is some black fritting and bubbling to the glaze around the base and the foot, otherwise in good condition.
