Nikolai Matsedonsky (1911-1980) was a Soviet Avant-garde painter, graphic artist and sculptor known primarily for his stage and costume designs. After graduating from VKhUTEMAS in 1932, he was employed as a stage manager by the Kamerny Theater in Moscow.
