Description: Iron tenkokuzan suji kabuto formed of eight plates with russet iron surface, five-stage tehen kanamono, the individual plates with applied shinodare in hanasakigata layout, tehen kanamono, inscribed "Muentoshi Saku". Four-lame, black lacquered ichi manju shikoro in sugake lacing, the lowest row gilt, middle-sized fukigaeshi with applied honda mon. Obverse with crescent moon maedate. Mabezashi and fukigaeshi with fine, slightly crazed lacquer decoration in the form of kikku biyu between scrolling leaves. Helmet lining loosened at front. Black lacquered, high-quality older hambo of iron with three-lame yodare kake, blue sugake lacing. Ni mai yokohagi do of iron in sabinuri-like finish with blue and yellow kebiki lacing, the upper plates and shoulder straps gilt and with ikakeji tataki nuri surface. Gilt kohire and improperly replaced giyoyo. Six-lame chu sode of black lacquered iron plates with blue sugake lacing. Both shinokote with mategara kawara on the upper arm on replaced brocade ground. Parts of the armour with various signs of age and use and partially improper repairs.
